To support our further growth, we are looking for a hard working person with a strong focus and attention to details to join our accounting team as

Bookkeeper


Working from our Belgrade hub/ remotely/ hybrid, you will be responsible for different assignments such as:

  • Bank reconciliation

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation

  • General ledger reconciliation

  • Posting transactions on a daily basis into QuickBooks/Xero

  • Invoice/bill audit

  • Cross- checking sales and purchases to comply with accounting software

  • Preparation of tax calculations (VAT/CT...)

Job requirements

We will be considering the applications of soon- to- be or recent graduates, with little or no experience in bookkeeping. It would be great that the candidate meets most of the requirements listed below:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (soon- to- be or recent graduate, preferably in accounting and auditing)

  • Fluency in English, confidence in using your language skills over the phone and in emails

  • Some experience in accounting desired, but not required

  • Knowledge and/or willingness to learn EU/UK accounting standards

  • Strong attention to detail- accuracy is the key for this position

  • Problem solving attitude- you will have lots of attention and help during the onboarding, and you are expected to show initiative and grow in this area afterwards

  • Good analytical skills- willingness to dig deeper, connect the dots and find patterns
