Business Operations Manager | Belgrade Office

Our furniture is a part of the tradition of mid-century modern design, sophisticated home décor movement that helped create inspired lifestyles for more than 70,000 of our customers across the UK, EU, and the US.

We are looking for a highly organized and structured individual with strong operational experience to join our team as a Business Operations Manager. Working from our hub in downtown Belgrade, you will be responsible for monitoring and facilitating the execution of the daily operations for our Belgrade office, as well as preparing reports, analyzing the results, and optimizing the operations in order to achieve the set business goals. What will you do daily:

• Manage 4 to 5 people in our downtown Belgrade office, monitor and improve routines and protocols, help identify and prioritize tasks and responsibilities, act as an intermediary between upper management and team members;

• Optimise shipping processes to ensure the orders are shipped out accurately and on time, facilitate daily parcel collections from the warehouse, and prevent the appearance of backlog;

• Set expectations and implement changes to improve delivery times, proactively notify management of any delay;

• Together with the team, improve packaging efficiency dynamically scale warehouse staffing to accommodate fluctuating order volumes;

• Streamline the processes related to returns processing and product exchange executions while ensuring clear communication between external teams (e.g., customer support and upper management);

• Develop, implement, and monitor procedures to secure unrealized revenue from incomplete payments or payment after delivery arrangements.

• Take a proactive approach to identifying and amending flaws in existing procedures that lead to negative customer experience.

• Maximise revenue and customer happiness by anticipating and preventing issues leading to customer dissatisfaction.

• Provide upper management with actionable insights into current and anticipated challenges in daily operations.

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• Previous experience in managerial, operational, or team lead positions in an international environment;

• Basic data analytics skills (Google Sheets)- knowing where to look, what data is relevant, ability to draw conclusions that lead to actionable insights;

• Great people skills to support the team in reaching their maximum potential and be better every day;

• Knowledge in the fields of logistics and supply chain management will be considered an advantage, especially if in a courier or an e-commerce business;

• Problem-solving skills, taking ownership of proposing solutions and implementing the necessary steps;

• Communication skills to bridge the gap between upper management and operational teams;

• Ability to recognise own gaps in knowledge and proactive approach towards learning;

• Full professional proficiency in written and oral English;

• University degree is preferred but not mandatory.
