This role exists to bring ownership, structure, and accountability to one of the most critical growth levers in the business.

We are hiring a Director of Growth Marketing to own growth strategy, paid acquisition, and commercial growth execution for one of our core brands. This is a hands-on, execution-critical leadership role. It is not about high-level strategy decks without implementation. You are expected to combine strategic thinking with deep operational involvement across acquisition, funnel optimisation, retention, experimentation, and scaling.

You will report directly to the top management and work closely with founders, analytics, creative, product, and operational teams. Growth is one of the company’s primary competitive advantages. As budgets scale and markets expand:

  • Small inefficiencies compound quickly

This role exists to ensure growth is intentional, measurable, scalable, and profitable — not accidental. As Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning growth performance across paid acquisition, funnel optimisation, and commercial scaling

  • Managing and optimising significant multi-channel marketing budgets across Google, Meta, and other relevant platforms

  • Leading and developing a small growth and performance team

  • Remaining hands-on in acquisition channels, testing frameworks, and performance analysis

  • Driving profitability-first growth, not revenue at the expense of contribution margins

  • Translating business objectives into executable growth plans

  • Identifying growth opportunities across acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer journey

  • Improving reporting structures, attribution understanding, and decision-making processes

  • Working closely with creative, analytics, product, and operational teams to improve performance

  • Building scalable growth systems and operational processes

  • Using tools such as ClickUp to prioritise, coordinate, and execute work

  • Identifying growth risks and operational bottlenecks early and acting decisively

To be clear, this role is not:

  • A purely strategic or advisory position

  • A reporting-only role without ownership

  • A place for agency-style output without accountability

  • A role disconnected from execution

You are expected to combine leadership with operational ownership.

Job requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly analytical and commercially minded

  • Comfortable owning budgets, decisions, and outcomes

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity while building scalable systems

  • Confident leading teams without losing operational depth

  • Strong in both strategy and execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or e-commerce scaling roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads at meaningful scale

  • Proven experience scaling e-commerce brands across US, UK, or EU markets

  • Experience managing significant paid media budgets with profitability responsibility

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs including ROAS, CAC, MER, LTV, contribution margin, and conversion rate

  • Experience leading or mentoring growth/performance teams

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • High proficiency in Google Sheets and data-driven decision making

  • Strong understanding of attribution, testing methodologies, and growth experimentation

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment

  • Strong command of English, written and spoken

Experience with:

  • CRO

  • retention/lifecycle marketing

  • landing page testing

  • YouTube, Display, TikTok, Pinterest, or additional acquisition channels

  • AI-assisted workflows and automation

  • Based in Barcelona, with regular travel to our offices in London, Barcelona, and Belgrade

  • In-office three days a week
